Llamado para ser Sus Manos

Dios nos ha elegido trabajar con Él para traer la justicia a las víctimas de la opresión, porque somos sus manos. La verdad es que él llama a toda la gente para luchar por la justicia para abusados y los que sufren en nuestro mundo. La gente del Dios no entiende que el trabajo social está conectado con el trabajo espiritual (Evangelismo). Usted no puede hacer uno sin el otro. Jesús siempre combino la obra social y espiritual junta. Él no sólo predicaría a la gente sobre la salvación espiritual pero él alimentaría el hambriento, curaría a sus cuerpos, y les sacaría de la vida de la prostitución, adicción, y opresión.

Alcanzar hacia fuera a la gente solo para ayudarles espiritualmente es como ver a una persona ahogándose en el océano. Usted está parado en el litoral con una salvavidas, y usted dice a la persona aquí esta su salvación ahora viene a mí, y le daré la salvavidas y le rescatará. La gente del Dios miran a la gente ahogándose en la desesperación de la vida y están parados en la distancia de su zona de la comodidad y dicen sé que usted está sufriendo, aquí que es su salvación, Jesús; solo lo que usted tiene que hacer es venir a nosotros. O les decimos que puede rescatarles de su situación, Jesús, pero los dejemos en su situación social y no entendemos por qué esa persona no podría mantener su relación con el Dios. No podrían hacerlo porque les informamos sobre la salvación, pero los abandonamos en la casa de drogas, prostíbulo, la calle, matrimonio abusivo, o en situación consumida de pobreza. Los rescatamos espiritualmente pero no hicimos nada para ayudarles socialmente, creando un ciclo interminable de la desesperación. El momento cuando cambiamos nuestra mentalidad y los métodos es el momento cuando veremos un mundo transformado.

”La religión pura y sin mancha delante de Dios nuestro Padre es ésta: atender a los huérfanos y a las viudas en sus aflicciones, y conservarse limpio de la corrupción del mundo.” (Santiago 1:27)

“Yo he buscado entre ellos a alguien que se interponga entre mi pueblo y yo, y saque la cara por él para que yo no lo destruya. ¡Y no lo he hallado!” (Ezequiel 22:30)

“¡Ya se te ha declarado lo que es bueno! Ya se te ha dicho lo que de ti espera el Señor: Practicar la justicia, amar la misericordia, y humillarte ante tu Dios.” (Miqueas 6:8)

Es increíble que Dios del universo nos da una lista corta de tres cosas que él requiera de nosotros, y esa lista comienza con la justicia. La biblia no podía estar más clara sobre la llamada del Dios para su gente unir con él para traer la relevación al sufrimiento. Las buenas noticias sobre esto es que Dios solo nos pide dar lo qué tenemos. Él no espera que hagamos milagros. Él pide que demos nuestras habilidades, talentos, dinero, e influencia – lo que tenemos – para utilizar para sus propósitos. Un gran ejemplo de cómo Dios usa que tenemos es la historia de Jesús cuando alimento los cinco miles de personas (Marcos 6:30 – 44). Jesús había estado predicando en la ladera todo el día. La biblia habla de solamente a 5.000 hombres en atendencia, pero nosotros puede asumir que había un número grande de mujeres y niños presentes también, agregando millares al número total de la gente allí. Fue un día muy largo, la gente naturalmente tuvieron hambre y los discípulos aconsejaron a Jesús decir la gente volver a sus casas así que podrían conseguir algo comer, se parece como una solución racional por el problema.

Pero, la respuesta de Jesús a sus discípulos era, “usted les da algo comer.” Uno puede imaginar la incredulidad de los discípulos mientras que explicaron a Jesús que tomaría más que el sueldo de un mes para alimentar a toda esta gente. Una vez más la respuesta de Jesús está sorprendiendo. Él dio vuelta a los discípulos y preguntó lo que los tenían. Ellos respondido que todo lo que tenían eran cinco pedazos de pan y dos pescados, no es bastante para hacer alimentar la miles de la gente. Pero, como sabemos, Jesús tomó eso poco la cantidad de alimento, la bendijo, y Jesús y los discípulos podía alimentar cada uno allí y tener más que tenían originalmente al principio. La lección es que Jesús tomó poco que los discípulos tenían y lo utilizo para realizar un milagro para alimentar los 5.000. El predico (Espiritual), y el alimento (Social).

Dios está preguntándonos la misma pregunta que él preguntó a discípulos: “Qué usted tiene?” Cuando comparamos la necesidad extensa de la justicia en el mundo – 27 millones de esclavos en el mundo, 1 millón niños atrapados en el comercio del sexo cada año – con el poco que tenemos que dar, parece tan imposible, y pensamos que no hay nada que podemos hacer para cambiar la situación. Jesús sabe que el problema de la injusticia es demasiado grande para nuestros cambiar con nuestro cinco pedazos de pan y dos pescados, solamente él nos quiere dar lo que lo tenemos a él. Él es grande para utilizar el pequeño que tenemos para hacer imposible, posible. Él desea utilizar nuestros regalos, talentos, y recursos para traer la justicia a la gente que la necesite urgentemente.

El resultado de esta historia en la biblia es que dieron cada individuo en esa ladera podrían comer. El resultado del ofrecimiento de la gente del Dios dar qué tienen para luchar contra la injusticia será que las vidas individuales serán liberadas de cadenas de la opresión.

La oración del Movimiento de Esperanza es que usted dará lo que usted tiene a Dios y que usted mirará Dios realizar milagros con lo que usted tiene.
